The Malthouse project in Grand Canal Quay, Dublin included the construction four-story glass extension above the existing historic stone structure. The proposed development comprised the construction of replacement concrete floor slabs at
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor levels the provision of the additional floors supported on a new steel frame.
Given the building’s location along Grand Canal Quay, space constraints and access for construction were significant challenges. The project required careful planning to manage logistics, particularly in a busy urban area with limited space for materials and equipment
