The proposed development involved the conservation and refurbishment of six houses and one retail store on Thomas Street, along with the retention of historic brickwork walls. The development also included the construction of 247 student accommodation units, ranging from three to six storeys above ground, set back behind the existing Thomas Street buildings via a newly formed private pedestrian street. The overall development spans approximately 8,625 sqm in floor area, including both existing and newly built structures. The development features retail units, student accommodation, a reception area, a gym, a bar, games rooms, communal living and dining spaces, and other facilities. Public realm works were also included, offering students high-quality outdoor spaces, such as games areas, courtyards, roof terraces.
